Services Our practice provides the following services for patients.
Antenatal Clinic 1.30pm - 2.30pm Tuesday (Talbot Green) Monday (Beddau) Unfortunately the hospital laboratory is unable to perform pregnancy tests, but these are available at most local pharmacies. Family Planning We offer a full range of family planning in surgery by appointment with a Doctor or Practice Nurse.
Baby Clinic 1.30 pm - 2.45pm Monday (Talbot Green)
Physiotherapy This service is available in appropriate cases, first by referral from one of the Doctors.

If you need urgent medical help, please phone the surgery for assistance. Telephone Advice & Test Results Many routine problems can be safely dealt with by telephone. If you require advice, please phone at 11.15am or 3.00pm. The Doctor will then have time to discuss your problem fully. If the problem is medically urgent then the call will be put through to the Doctor immediately. Please telephone after 10.00am for test results. ___________________________________________ |

Repeat Prescriptions Patients on repeat medication are issued with a computerised repeat prescription list. When requesting a repeat prescription, please tick the drugs you require and post the slip into the box provided in the entrance foyer of the surgery. Please allow 48 hours notice for all requests. To prevent mistakes, we do not accept requests by telephone. Medication is reviewed annually by the doctor, and you may be asked to attend an appointment for monitoring purposes. |

Antenatal
Care If you think
you are pregnant, please make an appointment in normal surgery where
we will arrange for you to see the midwife. This will involve an
initial assessment at home.
Cervical
Smears This is
recommended for all women aged twenty to sixty-four years, every
three years and can be done either by the practice nurses or
doctors. Please inform the receptionist so that a longer appointment
may be given for this purpose.
Child
Injections & Check Ups
We hold a baby clinic for all check-ups
and injections. For the sake of your child's health please make sure
they receive all their vaccinations on time. Coughs, colds and
snuffles do not usually mean injections have to be cancelled.
Minor
Operations A
minor operation services is available for all patients, this is held
Wednesday afternoons at Newpark Surgery. Please see the Doctor in
surgery who will then refer your case to the clinic.
Foreign
Travel Travel advice, including injections
and other health matters, is given by our Practice Nurses. Please
make a ten minute appointment with the nurse for travel advice. We
keep the majority of injections in stock but it is worth enquiring
early as some courses of injections take several weeks and should be
given well before the holiday.
Diabetic
Podiatrist Any diabetic patients who need
foot care can benefit from a referral to the podiatrist. Clinics are
held weekly on Mondays and are by arrangement only.
