Consultations are by appointment only and can be made by phone or in person from 8:30am. You can also book and cancel appointments online through NHS Wales’ My Health Online service by clicking on the icon. For more information on how to register for this service, please contact reception.
Please note we DO NOT accept appointment requests via EMAIL.
If you need urgent medical help, please phone the surgery for assistance.
There are several times during the year when there are no GP’s working on a Thursday afternoon and you are advised to contact the Out Of Hours Service, however the surgery doors remain open for administration purposes.
Requesting a Home Visit
House calls or home visits will only be made for terminally ill or housebound patients only. If a house call is required, please make your request between 8:30am and 10:30am by giving full details – including your address and telephone number to the receptionist, so that the necessary arrangements can be made.
The Doctor will decide the appropriateness of any house calls and when, where and if a home consultation will take place.
If an urgent house call is required due to an emergency, then please telephone the surgery and the details will be given to the On-Call Doctor immediately.
Remember, the Doctor can see five patients at the surgery in the time it takes to attend one home visit. Please use the service responsibly. If a patient has a rash or a fever, then attending surgery will not cause any harm or endanger others, please tell the receptionist and we will see you quickly.
Telephone Advice from the Doctor
Many routine problems can be safely dealt with by telephone. If you require advice, please phone at 10:00am to 12:00pm, or between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. The Doctor will then have time to discuss your problem fully. If the problem is medically urgent, the call will be put through to the Doctor.
