We have very pleased to announce that we will have the Covid-19 vaccine available to administer in the New Year, with full details still to follow. As GPs we have been asked only to vaccinate the previously shielding patients and those over the age of 80, in line with government guidance.

We would ask that you do not contact the surgery to make an appointment. We will be in contact with this group of patients as soon as we have the vaccine and further information from the health board.

We anticipate that we will have to reduce our clinical services to allow for the delivery of the vaccine, and appreciate your understanding and patience during this unprecedented time.

Services at the surgery have been changed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. A doctor will triage all telephone calls coming to the surgery. For the time being, no face to face appointments will be available unless the doctor has spoken to you first.

We have a doctor led e-consultation service on our website, with a response within 24 hours. Please use this for all medication requests, sick notes and medication reviews.

If you cannot use the e-consult service on, please ring the  surgery for advice. Be aware that we are dealing with a very high volume of calls.

Government advice: those with fever, new persistent cough, breathlessness or new loss of taste/smell should isolate and stay at home for 7 days. DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY. Call 111 if you feel worse. Household contacts should also isolate for 14 days.
