If you have been asked to complete a medication review you can now do so by using our e consult service.

Please click on the e consult link from our home page and then click on the section titled ‘need to complete a review?’

Under this heading there are many options including hypertension, asthma and diabetes. There is also an option for a general medication review to cover all other medications.

Please try to complete it as soon as possible so that we can reauthorise your medication in time.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Important Announcements

Test Shortage

Due to an unexpected shortage of essential materials needed to process blood tests supplied by Roche Pharmaceuticals it is not possible to undertake some routine blood tests at the present time.

This is a UK-wide problem which Welsh Government and Welsh Health Boards are working urgently to resolve but cannot give a date for this.

We sincerely apologise if your test has been delayed or needs to be repeated.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Services at the surgery have been changed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. A doctor will triage all telephone calls coming to the surgery. For the time being, no face to face appointments will be available unless the doctor has spoken to you first.

We have a doctor led e-consultation service on our website, with a response within 24 hours. Please use this for all medication requests, sick notes and any other queries.

If you cannot use the e-consult service on www.talbotgreengrouppractice.co.uk, please ring the  surgery for advice. Be aware that we are dealing with a very high volume of calls.

Government advice: those with fever, new persistent cough or breathlessness  should isolate and stay at home for 7 days. DO NOT COME TO THE SURGERY. Call 111 if you feel worse. Household contacts should also isolate for 14 days.

Coronavirus latest advice is available on : https://111.nhs.uk/service/COVID-19/
