Home Visits & Out of HoursHouse calls or home visits are usually only made for terminally ill or housebound patients. If a house call is required, please make your request between 8:30am and 10:30am by giving full details – including your address and telephone number to the receptionist, so that the necessary arrangements can be made. A GP may contact you to discuss your needs.
If an urgent house call is required due to an emergency, then please telephone the surgery and the details will be given to the On-Call Doctor immediately.
Repeat PrescriptionsPatients on repeat medication are issued with a computerised repeat prescription form. When requesting a repeat prescription, please tick the drugs you require and post the slip into the box provided at Reception. Please allow 48 hours notice to process all requests.
To prevent clinical mistakes, we do not accept prescription requests by telephone.
Medication is reviewed annually by the doctor, and you may be asked to attend an appointment for monitoring purposes.
Welcome to Talbot Green Group Practice
We work from two sites. Our Newpark Surgery is based in Talbot Green, and our Gwaunmiskin Road Surgery is based in Beddau.
Our website has been designed to provide our patients and other visitors with information about the practice and the different services we offer. You will also find details about important practice policies and see the latest news and announcements from the practice.
Please use the navigation menu at the top of the website to access the pages on our site, or click on the various links found within each page. We aim to make our website as interactive and user-friendly as possible on all types of devices, but have also considered users of differing abilities when designing the content of the website.
We also welcome any useful feedback or suggestions for ways in which we can improve the both the website and our practices services, so please get in touch.
