We are thrilled to announce a new digital partnership designed to put specialized pelvic health support directly into the hands of our patients. In collaboration with the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Women’s Health Physiotherapy Services, the Taff Ely cluster is launching a pilot of the getUBetter app.
This pilot program will be providing residents with instant access to evidence-based recovery pathways and pelvic health management.
What is getUBetter?

The getUBetter app is a digital self-management platform that provides 24/7 support for various pelvic health conditions. Instead of waiting for an initial consultation, patients can begin their journey toward recovery immediately through tailored, clinician-approved pathways.
The Three Key Pathways
The app offers targeted support across three specific areas of women’s health:
1. Core Women’s Pelvic Health
• Support for bladder and bowel incontinence.
• Management strategies for pelvic organ prolapse.
• Guidance for managing chronic pelvic pain.
2. Antenatal Support
• Trimester-by-trimester guidance.
• Exercises and advice specifically curated for the changing needs of pregnancy.
3. Postnatal Support
• Phase 1 (0–3 months): Initial recovery and gentle healing.
• Phase 2 (3+ months): Targeted help for leakage, diastasis recti (abdominal separation), and guidance on a safe return to high-impact activity.
How to Access the App
Getting started is simple. Patients can use the app on a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer.
