Introducing the Women’s Health Hub at Cwm Taf Morgannwg
Finding the right support for women’s health should feel clear, simple and joined up. Too often, people have to search across different pages, services and routes before they know where to go next. The new Women’s Health Hub at Cwm Taf Morgannwg has been created to help change that. To be referred to the service please ask your GP
The hub brings advice, care and support together in one place, making it easier to find trusted information and understand what help may be available. It is also a chance for people across our communities to share what matters most to them, so services can keep improving in ways that reflect real experiences.
This post is for information only and does not replace medical advice. Anyone worried about symptoms or in need of urgent help should contact the appropriate NHS service.

Why a Women’s Health Hub matters
Women’s health covers many stages of life and many types of care. That can include menstrual health, contraception, fertility, pregnancy, menopause, pelvic health, sexual health and long-term conditions that affect women differently.
Each person’s experience is different. Some may need quick advice. Others may be looking for the right service after months of symptoms. Some may want to understand what is normal, what is not, and when to ask for help.
A central hub helps by reducing the need to search in several places. It can support people to:
Find trusted information more easily
Understand where to go for advice
Learn about available support
Feel more confident asking for help
See women’s health as a whole-life issue, not a single appointment or condition
The aim is simple: make access to advice, care and support easier. The Hub offers support for a range of women’s health needs including:
Endometriosis and adenomyosis
Menopause
Menstrual health
Contraception - including postnatal and abortion care
What the hub brings together
The Women’s Health Hub is designed as a single point where people can start their search for women’s health information and support within Cwm Taf Morgannwg.
Rather than expecting people to know the exact service name or referral route, the hub offers a clearer way to find relevant advice. This matters because health concerns do not always fit neatly into one category.
For example, someone experiencing heavy periods may also have fatigue, pain, anxiety about symptoms, or questions about treatment choices. Someone going through menopause may need information about symptoms, lifestyle, medication options and when to speak to a healthcare professional.
The hub can help connect those questions to the right information more quickly.
It also gives health services a clearer way to present support around the needs people actually have, rather than around internal service structures.
Listening to women’s experiences
A health hub is most useful when it reflects the people it serves. That is why Cwm Taf Morgannwg also wants to hear views and experiences of women’s health from across local communities.
Feedback can help services understand what is working well and where people face barriers. These barriers may include:
Not knowing which service to contact
Feeling unsure whether symptoms are serious enough to raise
Waiting too long before seeking help
Finding health information confusing
Feeling that concerns have not always been heard
A short survey is available for people who want to share their experiences and help shape future support. Feedback does not need to be perfect or polished. Real stories, concerns and suggestions are what help services improve. Click the link below to provide feedback on the service
How to get involved
There are two simple ways to take part.
Visit the Cwm Taf Morgannwg Women’s Health Hub to find information and support in one place: Cwm Taf Morgannwg Women’s Health Hub.
You can also share your views and experiences by completing the short survey linked by Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The survey is an opportunity to explain what matters to you, what has helped, and what could be better.
The more people contribute, the stronger the picture becomes. That feedback can help shape services that are clearer, kinder and better matched to the needs of women across our communities. You can also be asked to be referred directly to the club via your GP.
